Surface Mount Clamp

If you have a one of our picnic tables with a portable base, but are tired of having it moved around, this Surface Mount Clamp will allow you to make its base permanent. Installing this piece is incredibly simple. It fits cleanly and tightly over the bottom tubes of the portable base, and can be screwed into place on both sides. This securely holds the table in place so that it won’t be moved to other areas of your area, or shifted too close to other tables when guests stand up. Even if you are installing a new picnic table, with the intention of it being fixed in place, it may still be prudent to order a portable base with a Surface Mount Clamp instead of an ordinary surface mount, because the clamp may still be removed later on with the proper tools. There are different sizes available to fit either 2” or 2-3/8″ bases.
